Our pink Australian clay is a lovely skin softener and can be blended with other clays for different properties and effect or used as a stand-alone additive for face and body masks.
It is lovely for use in cold process soaps (particularly a rose soap).
It can be used in body wraps, to add colour to natural soaps, face masks and body scrubs.
Ingredients: Kaolin, Iron Oxides [CI 77491], Iron Oxides [CI 77499]
Note: In late 2018 the mine extracting the Australian pink clay was closed due to exhausting the natural clay deposits. In order to maintain supply of the same specification product the pink clay is now manufactured from Australian mined kaolin and Iron oxide pigment. This produces a clay with the same characteristics and chemistry as the original product but via a slightly different process.
